I use this app very intensive being an intensive multi-instrumentalist. So I was very shocked to find that the app is not available for my new phone which is not Android. After two weeks without this app, I revived an old Asus tablet to make sure I still can use this wonderful app. Hope a version for Apple will still be developed.

Clear and to the point. Just letters and colours (green when you're in tune, orange when you're out of tune), without all those fancy interfaces imitating analogue tuners. You can fine-tune the sensitivity manually or let the app do that for you based on the sound level (this feature is a must given how different the mic quality is in different phones). Also, you don't even have to 'pick' what string you're intending to tune or what pitch you're aiming for: you just pluck the string and the app shows you the closest pitch.
